Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia in Broken Hill is seeking a Line Pilot to join our aeromedical operations. You will fly as part of a team servicing rural and remote communities with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Operate within rosters and schedules to ensure timely patient transfers.

To fly with us as a Line Pilot you will have the essential requirements of:

• Australian CPL with ATPL subjects
• Multi engine command instrument rating
• Class 1 Medical
• Total time - 2500 Hours
• Total time in command - 2000 Hours
• Total time in command - multi engine – 500 hours
• Night experience - 100 Hours
• Australian citizenship, residency or an approved work visa

In addition, it is desirable for our Line Pilots to possess:

• Remote area flying experience
• Preferred 4 instrument proficiency checks
• Turbine experience is preferred but not required
• Past experience in working shifts over a 24‑hour period
