Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an Aerodrome Reporting Officer to join the Defence division at SA - RAAF Edinburgh. You will oversee day-to-day operational control, compliance and reporting to ensure DASR/MOS 139 alignment with the AO services plan.

This role requires ARO/WSO certifications, ASIC, and arOC, along with strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills. You will be part of a team supporting airbase operations, wildlife and environmental risk management, and coordination with PAS

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aviation (Aerodrome Operations) or equivalent qualification.
• Current Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) and Aerodrome Works Safety Officer (WSO) certifications.
• Valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Aircraft Radiotelephone Operator Certificate (AROC) for airport radio communications.
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks, adapt to changing conditions and solve problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and maintain reporting/documentation to support airbase operations and certification.
• Draft and monitor NOTAMs to meet safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain FOD register and coordinate AO maintenance.
• Liaise with PAS providers for safe operations and support audits.
• Assist in hazard inspections and management of wildlife, environmental and maintenance risks.
• Manage pedestrian and vehicle movements, including escorting duties.
• Support Military Support at Civilian Airports operations at Adelaide Airport.
