Job summary

Clayton Utz in Sydney is seeking a Lawyer to join our Commercial Litigation and Class Actions team on a full‑time basis. You will work with leading partners and clients on major complex litigation, including high‑profile disputes, regulatory investigations and class actions.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years post-qualification experience as a Lawyer
• Strong commercial litigation and/or regulatory experience
• Strong academic achievements

Responsibilities

• Exposure to major complex commercial litigation in areas including high-profile disputes, investigations and inquiries
• Involvement in corporate litigation, class actions and representative proceedings
• Assist with regulatory investigations by Australian regulatory bodies (including ASIC)
• Brief and liaise with counsel, draft correspondence and advices
• Prepare witness and expert evidence and assist with final and interlocutory proceedings
• Assist clients with internal inquiries and responses to regulatory investigations
