Job summary

WIN Television is seeking an Advertising Sales Assistant to support the local Sales team in Maroochydore. You will help with media bookings, reporting, and general administration, while responding to client requests and viewer inquiries via email and phone.

Strong administration, communication, and data entry skills are essential. Training will be provided, and the role offers opportunities to work in a dynamic media environment with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
• Ability to fulfil reception/administration duties for the Sales department.
• Accuracy and excellent attention to detail and data entry capabilities.
• Effective time management skills are essential and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to the operations and working relationships.
• Demonstrated positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
• Demonstrated the ability to problem solve.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Excellent phone manner and problem solving ability for incoming complaints and inquiries.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible person to fill a support role for our local Sales team. This is a full-time position, based at our office in Maroochydore. As the Advertising Sales Assistant, you will be required to assist the sales team with quality office support including processing and management of the placement of media bookings, as well as generating reports and other associated administrative work.

You will also be required to respond to client requests and will be the first point of contact for viewer inquiries. You will need to respond to calls or requests predominantly via email and telephone in a professional and friendly manner.
