Job summary

The WIN Television Network in Wollongong is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. You will process invoices, reconcile bank statements and petty cash, and liaise with internal and external customers.

The role is full-time and based at our Wollongong Head Office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will also take ownership of office administration duties, including reception support, and work well both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Professional and proactive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail in dealing with high volume data.
• Ability to work with high degrees of numeracy and to negotiate and solve problems to meet deadlines.
• Pleasant telephone manner and high levels of customer care.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team! Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will consist of processing of invoices payable and receivable, reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash, and liaising with internal and external customers. As well as this, you will be required to take ownership of the office administration function which will include assisting with reception duties. This position is full time Monday to Friday located at our Wollongong Head Office.

About you:

To be the successful candidate, you will have:

• Previous accounts experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

• An ability to work with high degrees of numeracy and the ability to negotiate and solve problems and meet strict deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel.
