Job summary

Aussie Trax 4x4 Rentals is seeking an adventure travel guide to support vehicle hire on K’gari with some time at Kingfisher Bay and Urangan. The role links front-of-house customer service to our Workshop to ensure fleets are maintained to a high standard.

We offer training and development, and a chance to grow from seasonal work into permanent opportunities within a long-standing, award-winning tourism operator.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service position.
• Mechanical experience/aptitude.
• Hold current manual driving license - MR and forklift license desirable.
• Physically fit.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Flexible to changing circumstances.
• Knowledge of Fraser Island and four wheel driving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer enquiries and expectations are met.
• Check out and in vehicles.
• Clean and prepare vehicles for hire.
• Ensure all company vehicles are maintained via working closely with the Workshop Team.
• Ability to drive manual vehicle.
• Actively follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices consistent with legislative requirements and regulations.

About the Role

We are in search for a new adventure travel guide to join our diverse Team to support the hire of 4wd vehicles around K'gari. As part of this role you would spend most your time on K'gari at Kingfisher Bay office and the rest would be out of our Urangan office.

The adventure travel guide provides a critical link between the front of house customer and our Workshop to ensure that company vehicles fleet are maintained to a high standard.

Key Role Requirements
