Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Fraser Island) seeks a friendly Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/check-outs and respond to enquiries. You will be part of the Front Office, delivering a seamless resort experience from arrival to departure while living on the island on a rotating roster.

This full-time, live-on-island role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service/front office or customer-facing hospitality experience.
• Experience in a hotel, resort or tourism environment preferred.
• Confidence using hotel booking/property management systems with RMS, Opera or Sihot experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, professional and solution-focused attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Open driver’s licence desirable.
• Legal right to work in Australia.

About the Role
