Job summary

Australian Adventure Group Holdings Pty Ltd – Noosa Heads QLD is hiring a Day Tour Guide on a casual basis. You will drive and guide groups from Noosa to Kkgari, delivering engaging commentary on the island’s natural and cultural history, while serving lunch and refreshments and ensuring safety standards are met.

This role suits someone who loves the outdoors, thrives on high-level customer service, and enjoys flexible daytime tours.

Qualifications

• Must be living in the Sunshine Coast area or moving within the month.
• Must have a Clean Medium Rigid driver's licence or must have applied for it.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Queensland Driver's Authority (DA) to carry passengers; priority for current DA.
• Food safety certificate.
• Working with Children's Check.
• Physically fit.
• Able to work flexibly as day tours depart daily.
• Keen sense of adventure.
• 4WDriving experience on sand advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive and guide day tours from Noosa to Kkgari for our day tour.
• Provide engaging commentary on Kkgari's natural and cultural history.
• Serve lunch and refreshments to guests.
• Ensure safety standards are met during tours.
• Deliver memorable customer experiences and handle on-tour issues.

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Day Tour Guideto join our team on a casualbasis to deliver unforgettable experiences from beginning to end.

The role involves driving and guiding tour groups from Noosa to K'gari for our day tour, and showing them everything that the island has to offer. The successful candidate will deliver engaging commentary on K'gari's natural and cultural history as well as serve lunch & refreshments, and ensure safety standards are met.

This is a diverse role that requires a love for the outdoors, attention to detail, problem solving skills, high level of customer service and a passion for the environment.If you are after a lifestyle rather than a job, this is the role for you!

Necessary prerequisites:

• Must be living in the Sunshine Coast area or moving within the month
• Clean Medium Rigid driver's licence
  You must either have this licence or have applied for it to be considered
• Must be eligible to obtain a Queensland Driver's Authority (DA) to carry passengers. This entails a criminal history check, medical assessment and a written test
  Priority will be given to candidates with a current DA
• Food safety certificate
• Working with Children's Check
• Physically fit
• Ability to work flexibly, noting our day tours depart daily
• A keen sense of adventure
• 4WDriving experience on sand advantageous
