Job summary

Girton Grammar School in regional Victoria is seeking an experienced Admissions Manager to lead the admissions and enrolment function, delivering an outstanding experience for prospective families from enquiry through to enrolment and commencement.

Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Operations, you will drive relationships, manage applications and data, coordinate tours and events, and collaborate with Marketing, Finance and leadership to support enrolment growth and retention.

Qualifications

• Experience in admissions, enrolments or a comparable customer-focused role.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing databases and producing accurate reports and insights.
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
• The ability to lead, collaborate and manage competing priorities.
• Relevant post-secondary qualifications and/or significant relevant experience.
• Experience with Synergetic and Funnel is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead admissions and enrolments across the Junior and Senior Schools.
• Build strong relationships with prospective families and provide a welcoming, responsive and professional experience.
• Manage enquiries, applications, interviews, offers, waitlists, enrolment conversion and student commencement.
• Coordinate school tours, Open Days, information sessions and enrolment activities.
• Monitor enrolment trends and prepare forecasts, analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate data across systems including Funnel and Synergetic.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Communications, Finance and School Leadership to support enrolment growth and retention.
• Lead and support the Admissions Assistant and oversee the effective operation of the Admissions Office.
