The Admissions Officer role is based at the Malmsbury Youth Justice Precinct, with flexibility across Parkville and Cherry Creek precincts. You will support admissions processes, maintain CRIS data integrity, and coordinate transfers of young people between custodial sites.

The position includes committed training with a fully funded Certificate IV in Youth Justice as part of the role. Ongoing, full-time opportunity in a system-focused environment within Youth Justice, contributing to safe,

Competenze

Excellent administrative and data entry skills.
An understanding of the Youth Justice CRIS system would be highly regarded.
Comprehensive understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Mansioni

Maintain accurate CRIS records for admissions, releases, court appearances, sentences, bail and temporary leave.
Ensure admission processes are followed and update systems to support the safe transfer of young people between custodial precincts.
Maintain a safe and secure environment by recording movements, conducting searches and monitoring alarms.
Perform other duties such as young people escorts, supervising visits, managing client property and other administration duties as required.
Provide care, supervision, safety and support for young people in youth justice facilities.
