Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Sydney is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide generalist support to ABC International Services. Reporting to the Production and Operations Manager, the role is hands-on, service-focused, and offers variety in day-to-day tasks.

As Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide generalist administrative support to ABC International Services, helping keep the team organised and day-to-day activities running smoothly.
Reporting to the Production and Operations Manager, this is a hands‑on, service‑focused role with plenty of variety. You’ll coordinate international travel, process invoices and payments, maintain rosters and records, organise meetings and provide support across events, team activities and ad‑hoc projects.
Coordinate international travel, including flights, accommodation, visas and approvals.
Process invoices, purchase orders, payments and reimbursements.
Maintain rosters, timesheets and administrative records.
Coordinate meetings, training, team activities and general office requirements.
Support events and international delegation visits.
Provide occasional administrative and EA support to senior leaders.
Pitch in across ad‑hoc tasks such as employee contract requests and projects as needed.
You’re organised, task‑focused and proactive, with a genuine enjoyment of supporting others and getting things done. Comfortable juggling different priorities, you’re equally happy processing an invoice, organising international travel or picking up whatever task needs attention.
General administration experience, including invoice processing and international travel bookings.
Strong organisation, accuracy and follow‑through.
A proactive, flexible and service‑oriented approach.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
A genuine interest in media, public broadcasting and the ABC’s international work.
Availability to work from Ultimo four days per week.
