Job summary

Premier’s Department in Sydney is seeking an Administration Support Officer to provide efficient administration support across the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Land Strategy team.   • Temporary, Clerk Grade 3/4 opportunity ($87,199-$95,482 per annum), location negotiable.
About the Role

The Administration Support Officer provides efficient and dependable administrative support across the team. Key responsibilities include responding to enquiries, managing diaries, arranging travel and vehicle bookings, processing finance-related activities, and undertaking additional projects and tasks as required.

We’re looking for
  • Executive and Meeting Support: Coordinate diaries, meetings and conferences for Directors and Managers, including scheduling, meeting room management, catering and travel arrangements.
  • Recruitment and Workforce Administration: Support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities by arranging interviews, maintaining records, processing documentation and assisting with workforce administration tasks.
  • Finance and Resource Management: Manage administrative financial processes, including purchase orders, payment confirmations, project tracking, cab charge administration and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Operational Support and Continuous Improvement: Support business continuity during staff absences, and contribute to standardised administrative systems and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Salary: Classification Grade 3/4. Package includes base salary($87,199-$95,482 per annum) plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
