Qualifications

Tullawon Health Service is seeking a professional, organised, and community-minded Administration Receptionist to join our Administration Team.

As the first point of contact for community members, visitors, stakeholders, and staff, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, culturally safe, and professional environment while supporting the daily operations of our organisation.

THS is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation delivering culturally safe healthcare and wellbeing services to the Yalata community. Grounded in community, family, culture, and connection, we are committed to ensuring people can access high-quality services closer to home.

About the Role

Working within our Administration Team, you will provide front-line reception services and administrative support across the organisation. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work with community members, staff, visitors, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries.
  • Direct enquiries to the appropriate staff and services.
  • Maintain reception areas and ensure a positive visitor experience.
  • Coordinate mail, correspondence, filing, and document management.
  • Maintain administrative records, databases, and registers.
  • Assist with accommodation bookings and visitor logistics.
  • Coordinate check-in and check-out processes.
  • Process accommodation invoices and payments.
  • Assist with office supply management, asset registers, vehicle logs, and key registers.
  • Support maintenance requests and contractor coordination.
About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with electronic records, booking systems, or database management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Previous experience in a remote community or Aboriginal health setting.
  • Understanding of quality improvement and accreditation requirements.
  • Ability to communicate in Pitjantjatjara.
