Are you an organised and compassionate administration professional who enjoys working with people and making a difference? The Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) is seeking an enthusiasticAdministration Officer Level 4to join our team atWallsend Health Campus, Wattle Grove Cottage.

About the Role

The Transitional Aged Care Program provides short-term, rehabilitation-focused care to older people following a hospital admission. Our goal is to support clients to regain their independence, improve their function and successfully return to living in their own homes.

As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the program, with a particular focus on coordinatingbrokered support servicesfor clients.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary clinical team, clients and their families, advocates and external service providers to ensure services are coordinated effectively and clients receive the support they need.

Key responsibilities include:

The position reports to theNurse Manager of Aged Care Servicesand works collaboratively with the wider TACP team and key stakeholders.

Previous experience inaged care, community health, rehabilitation or a healthcare settingwould be highly regarded, as would experience coordinating external services, invoice reconciliation, financial reporting or knowledge of aged care and community-based services.

You will have the opportunity toshadow experienced team membersand progressively take on responsibilities as your confidence and knowledge develop.

Ongoing support, education and training will be available, with opportunities to build your knowledge in aged care, community rehabilitation, service coordination and health administration.

Mandatory training will be completed through theMy Health Learningonline portal.
