Job summary

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is seeking an administrative professional to be the friendly first point of contact for patients, families and visitors. You will manage appointments and enquiries, coordinate clinic bookings and liaise with hospital teams to keep the department running smoothly.

You will maintain accurate patient records, prepare correspondence and reports, and support a range of administrative activities across clinical trials and services to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a healthcare or hospital environment.
  • Friendly, professional approach with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • High attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic patient management systems.

  • Be the friendly first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing appointments, enquiries and phone calls.
  • Coordinate clinic bookings, transport, interpreter services and liaising with teams across the hospital to keep the department running smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, prepare correspondence and reports, and ensure documentation is confidential and processed efficiently.
  • Support various administrative activities including clinical trials, country clinics and services that enhance patient care.
  • Work with a supportive team and contribute to continuous improvements and department needs.

  • Salary: $73,915.12 -$76,218.80+ super + salary packaging
