Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland’s FaDS team in Southport seeks a site-based Administration Officer to provide administrative, financial, operational and reception support for HOPES and Pathways to Grow. Reporting to the Service Leader, you’ll manage priorities independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.

This part-time role (19 hours per week, negotiable between 9am and 5pm) offers $40.49 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging. A flexible, values-driven workplace awaits.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration, Event Management or a related qualification.
  • At least two years’ administration experience supporting management.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and confidence using business systems and databases.
  • Experience with reconciliations, purchasing and accounts processing.
  • Strong organisation, communication, attention to detail and stakeholder skills.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility to obtain one before commencement.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable children and families, with knowledge of the Child Safety system would be highly regarded.

We are seeking a site-based Administration Officer to provide administrative, financial, operational and reception support to our HOPES and Pathways to Grow programs in Southport.
