icare is seeking an Administration Coordinator (EDRT) in Sydney CBD to ensure efficient delivery and coordination of administrative services for the Eligibility Dispute Review Team. The role supports data requests, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

With a starting salary of AUD 87,199, the position requires at least 3 years in a similar role within insurance or workers compensation. Applicants must have Australian working rights and reside in NSW.

About the Role

The Administration Coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient delivery and coordination of administrative services to support the Eligibility Dispute Review Team to meets its objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements. The Eligibility Dispute Review Team is responsible for conducting and determining liability reviews of disputed psychological injury Worker’s Compensation claims attributed to bullying, harassment and excessive work demands. The role will also support with data requests, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties
Administrative
  • Deliver a broad range of administrative coordination services to support the effective implementation and operation of the Eligibility Dispute Review Team.
  • Coordinate workflow of internal review requests, other work activities, and events/meetings across team.
  • Identify and assess urgent or complex queries, escalating matters appropriately and providing hands-on support in their resolution.
  • Triage and redirect incoming correspondence to relevant internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and respond to correspondence with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity.
Data, record keeping and reporting
  • Maintain and update team records and databases, ensuring information is accurate, complete, appropriately stored, and readily accessible.
  • Provide efficient support for data and reporting requests, including gathering information, preparing documentation, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Produce tracking reports and exception reports to support team performance monitoring and compliance oversight.
  • Monitor and report on the team’s adherence to confidentiality obligations, privacy standards, internal policies, and applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve team processes, workflows, and practices.
  • Recognise and elevate system or process issues that pose a risk to the delivery, quality, or integrity of the team’s work.
  • Actively support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to implement change.
Skills & Experience
  • Understanding of the legislation and regulatory framework relevant to NSW workers compensation.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with an understanding of the insurance industry and experience in personal injury, life insurance or workers compensation.
