Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Dental United Group is seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Service & Repairs Coordinator to join our Newcastle team. No dental industry experience is required; we value strong customer service, a great phone manner, and the ability to juggle multiple jobs while bringing everything together.
You’ll be the central point of contact for repair and breakdown jobs, coordinating with customers and technicians to get equipment back up and running quickly.
Love organising, problem-solving and keeping things moving? This could be a great next step for you.
Dental United Group is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Service & Repairs Coordinator to join our Newcastle team.
You don’t need dental industry experience – we’re much more interested in finding someone who is great with customers, has a great phone manner, can confidently juggle multiple jobs and enjoys being the person who brings everything together.
If you’ve worked in service coordination, scheduling, customer service, trades, field service, technical support or a similar fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What does the role look like? You’ll be the central point of contact for our repair and breakdown jobs, working with customers and technicians to get equipment back up and running as quickly as possible.
One minute you might be taking a call from a customer with an urgent breakdown, the next you’ll be organising a technician, chasing a part, preparing a quote or checking that a completed job is ready to invoice.
There’s plenty of variety, and you’ll have the satisfaction of seeing jobs through from the first phone call to completion.
Your day could include:Speaking with customers and coordinating their repair requests
Scheduling our field technicians and workshop repairs
Keeping customers updated on the progress of their jobs
Organising parts and making sure technicians have what they need
Preparing and following up quotes
Coordinating warranties and third-party repairs
Keeping jobs moving through our system from booking to invoicing
Working closely with our technicians and wider support team
Finding solutions when priorities change or an urgent breakdown comes in
You might already be a Service Coordinator, Scheduler or Service Administrator – or you may be working in customer service or administration and looking for something with a little more variety and responsibility.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a great phone manner and genuinely enjoys talking to customers
Is friendly, confident and professional
Is naturally organised and enjoys keeping on top of things
Can manage several priorities without losing attention to detail
Likes solving problems rather than simply passing them on
Is comfortable with computer systems and learning new technology
Communicates well with both customers and technicians
Enjoys being part of a busy, supportive team
Experience with SimPRO or another job management/scheduling system would be fantastic, but it’s absolutely not essential. Full training will be provided.
Why Dental United Group? You’ll be joining a growing Australian dental equipment service business with an experienced and supportive team around you.
This isn’t a role where you’re expected to walk in knowing everything about dental equipment. We’ll teach you our systems, equipment and processes.
Bring us your organisation, initiative, great phone manner and customer service skills – we’ll teach you the dental side.
Sound like you?
