seek.com.au is partnering with a Cairns-based client to hire a Junior Admin Assistant. The role focuses on customer support by phone and email, data entry and invoicing, and coordinating with other departments.

You'll need great attention to detail, a reliable transport, and the ability to multitask. The position is a temporary 2-month assignment with potential for ongoing work and a pay rate of $34 per hour plus penalties for overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Confident phone manner.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
• Reliable transport.
• General computer literacy (Emails, Microsoft Office).
• Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer queries via email
• Directing customer queries to departments based on customer requirements (estimating, scheduling, etc.)
• Greeting customers face-to-face where required
• General data entry and invoicing tasks
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and other departments
