Job summary

The Coles Group is seeking an ADC Optimisation Specialist to advance automation across its distribution centres. You will combine hands-on systems knowledge with strong stakeholder skills to turn complex problems into practical improvements for teams and customers.

You will analyse performance, develop technical solutions, govern releases and document configurations to support reliable operations while working with Coles Technology, ADC Operations and external partners such as WITRON.

Qualifications

  • Experience with automation, supply chain or warehouse systems in a complex operational environment.
  • Strong systems knowledge; able to analyse issues and develop practical technical solutions.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems; knowledge of WITRON WMS highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills; use data to identify problems and quantify improvements.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to influence across teams.

About the role

As ADC Optimisation Specialist, you'll help deliver the next phase of our supply chain reset by improving the systems, processes and technical frameworks that support our automated distribution centres. Working closely with ADC Operations, Coles Technology and external partners including WITRON, you'll analyse system performance, solve technical issues and help embed stronger ways of working. You'll combine hands on systems knowledge with strong stakeholder skills to turn complex problems into practical improvements for our teams and customers.

You will also:

About you and your skills

You're a technically minded systems specialist with experience in automation, supply chain or logistics environments and a strong understanding of how systems support day-to-day operations. You're also an engaging communicator who enjoys working across technical and operational teams, can explain complex issues clearly and builds trusted relationships with internal and external partners.

You will have:

  • Experience working with automation, supply chain or warehouse systems in a complex operational environment.
  • Strong systems knowledge, with experience analysing issues and developing practical technical solutions.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems; knowledge of WITRON WMS would be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to use data to identify problems and quantify improvement opportunities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across technical, operational and supplier teams.
