• Deliver safe, evidence-based and patient-centred nursing care to patients undergoing acute surgical treatment.

• Collaborate with patients, consumers, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop, implement and evaluate individualised plans of care.
• Apply sound clinical judgement and critical thinking to assess patient needs, recognise changes in clinical condition and respond appropriately.
• Support effective communication, clinical handover and continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
• Contribute to a positive team culture that values collaboration, professional accountability, learning and continuous improvement.
