Barwon Health, Victoria’s largest regional health service, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for Acute Services to lead education across our acute units. This role supports evidence-based practice, NSQHS standards and continuous improvement, working with interprofessional teams in a dynamic regional setting.

Based in Geelong region, the role offers a balanced lifestyle near the Bellarine Peninsula and Great Ocean Road, with a focus on development, reflective practice, and strong mentorship

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse healthcare teams.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities to support education initiatives.
• Experience applying adult learning principles and education theory.

Responsabilités

• Conduct learning needs analyses to identify skill gaps and inform education solutions.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate education programs aligned with NSQHS and organisational requirements.
• Apply education theory, simulation, and blended learning to support knowledge retention and clinical capability.
• Use evaluation and quality improvement data to measure impact of education initiatives.
• Foster interprofessional learning with clinical teams and external partners to support continuous development.
• Ensure education activities comply with safety, quality, information management and OH&S standards.
