Job summary

Pacific Life Re seeks a Manager, Actuarial Analytics & Insights to lead delivery of actuarial results across US GAAP, IFRS17, LAGIC and related bases for the Australia entity. You’ll collaborate with Valuation, CA teams, and DBS to align processes and support capital management.

You will influence modelling standards, drive change initiatives, and supervise the AA&I function without direct line management while developing strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Actuarial qualification and/or fellowship with relevant actuarial body.
• Minimum 5 years in life insurance or life reinsurance roles.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and summarize actuarial model outputs for multiple accounting bases.
• Support capital management processes and annual reporting.
• Develop actuarial methodology across reporting bases and deals.
• Produce controls and validation reports for results.
• Provide guidance and review within Australia AA&I team.
• Collaborate with CA teams and DBS functions.
• Assess financial impact of changes in actuarial assumptions.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes (Project Unify).
• Specify model requirements for new developments and test outcomes.
