Job summary

Allstate Canada Group is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support short- and long-term objectives. You will interpret actuarial analyses for stakeholders and work with the Actuarial team to deliver high-quality performance metrics.

You will act as a SME across projects, liaison between business units and systems, develop SAS and Visual Basic programs, and coach junior staff while ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial, statistics, or a related field.
• ACAS preferred and considered an asset.
• Solid knowledge of pricing, risk management and insurance regulation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate between business units and systems on assigned projects.
• Develop and integrate SAS and Visual Basic programs for actuarial work.
• Support design of new rating plans, products and processes.
• Coach and delegate work to junior actuarial staff.
• Communicate complex analyses and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support rate changes, rate filings, and new product introductions.
