Job summary

SKL in Australia is seeking actuarial/analytical professionals for consulting and advisory roles in general insurance and related analytics. You will work on diverse, high-impact projects that combine traditional actuarial work with data science and AI techniques.

Qualifications

• Up to 4 years of experience in actuarial consulting, analytics, data science or another quantitative role.
• Actuarial qualification (or progressing towards one) or background in quantitative disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL or other analytical tools.
• Exposure to predictive modelling, statistical analysis or machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate insights into business outcomes.
• Curious mindset with a collaborative approach and interest in solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Work on analytics, predictive modelling and machine learning projects across industries.
• Contribute to pricing, forecasting and optimisation initiatives.
• Perform risk analytics and decision science for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of actuaries, data scientists, economists and strategy consultants.
