Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Analytics Solutions team in Australia. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly and offers opportunities to tackle complex actuarial and risk analytics matters while engaging with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to deliver practical advice.

Qualifications

• Actuarial or broader insurance industry experience is required.
• Experience in either an insurer or consulting environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and working through uncertainty to provide practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements with a high standard of quality and professionalism.
• Work directly with clients, brokers, and senior stakeholders to support trusted relationships and strong service delivery.
• Translate technical findings into clear, practical insights for clients and colleagues.
• Apply sound judgement to complex business and risk issues and make balanced recommendations where there is no single perfect answer.
• Coordinate effectively across onshore and offshore team members to support delivery and collaboration.
• Support, mentor, and at times manage junior team members as the practice grows.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activity as appropriate.
