Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is seeking an energetic Activities Attendant to join the team and bring the resort experience to life for families. You’ll engage children and guests in a range of activities, from beach games to water-based adventures, while delivering the VIK Club program with energy and care.

You’ll need a lively personality, love of working with kids, outdoor stamina, and flexibility including weekends.

Qualifications

• Energetic, outgoing personality and love for working with families.
• Experience in childcare, recreation, or hospitality is valued.
• Able to work outdoors and stay active all day.
• Current Working with Children Blue Card or willing to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR certification is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work weekends and school holidays.”

Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Activities Attendant to join our team and help bring the resort experience to life.

This is a fun, active and people-focused role where you’ll spend your days engaging with children, families and guests through a variety of activities and experiences.

You’ll help deliver our VIK Club program while also supporting the wider Activities operation. No two days will look the same — you could be running a beach game in the morning, helping guests get out on the water or leading a craft activity in the afternoon.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being active, enjoys working with people and wants to build valuable experience in a fast-paced resort environment.

In This Role, You’ll

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• A fun, energetic and outgoing personality
• A genuine passion for working with children and families
• Confidence engaging with guests of all ages
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved
• Previous experience in childcare, recreation, education, camps, entertainment or hospitality is highly regarded
• Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day
• Current Working with Children Blue Card or willingness to obtain
• First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial
• Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and varied hours
