Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, part of Accor, is seeking an energetic Activities Attendant to join our team. You’ll engage with children, families and guests through a variety of activities and experiences, bringing energy and personality to a fast-paced resort environment on the Sunshine Coast.

In this role you’ll host VIK Club activities, run beach games and tours, and support water-based activities with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• A fun, energetic and outgoing personality.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Confidence engaging with guests of all ages.
• Positive attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Previous experience in childcare, recreation, education, camps, entertainment or hospitality is highly regarded.
• Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day.
• Current Working with Children Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and varied hours.

• Plan and deliver activities such as beach games, crafts, trivia, putt putt and bike tours.
• Support water-based activities with a strong focus on guest safety.

• Build positive connections with guests and create memorable experiences.
• Support the daily operation of the Activities team and activity areas.
• Keep equipment and activity spaces clean, organised and guest-ready.

Job Description

We're looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Activities Attendant to join our team and help bring the resort experience to life.

This is a fun, active and people-focused role where you'll spend your days engaging with children, families and guests through a variety of activities and experiences.

You'll help deliver our VIK Club program while also supporting the wider Activities operation. No two days will look the same - you could be running a beach game in the morning, helping guests get out on the water or leading a craft activity in the afternoon.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being active, enjoys working with people and wants to build valuable experience in a fast-paced resort environment.
