Job summary

Townsville Catholic Education in Mount Isa seeks an experienced Acting Middle Leader - Pastoral to lead the learning and teaching program at Good Shepherd Catholic College. The role is full-time and fixed-term through 3 December 2027.

You will be a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers, with extensive Arts classroom experience and a solid understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements. You will model Catholic ethos and lead with integrity.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super + Allowances + Middle Leader Allowance Tier 2.C ($16,280 per annum pro rata)

Good Shephard Catholic College, Mount Isa is seeking an experienced and dedicated Acting Middle Leader - Pastoral.

This is a full-time, fixed-term tenure for the 2027 school year, concluding on 3 December 2027.

The Curriculum Leader supports the mission of Good Shepherd Catholic College through leadership of the learning and teaching program by ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership.
