Job summary

KAPiTAL Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major acquisition integration program in the financial services sector. You will own a designated workstream, coordinating with a broad integration team to ensure Day 1 readiness and a smooth transition into ongoing integration activities.

You will establish governance, delivery plans and RAID-based controls while guiding stakeholders across business and technology domains in a fast-moving, complex environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager delivering complex business and technology transformation programs.
• Previous experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestments or post-acquisition integration programs is highly desirable.
• Strong project mobilisation experience, including establishing governance, delivery plans and project controls.
• Experience delivering projects across corporate systems, business operations, workplace technology or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of project governance, RAID management, dependency mapping and stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to independently drive delivery and manage competing priorities.
• Financial services experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mobilisation, planning and coordination of a designated acquisition integration workstream.
• Develop detailed project plans, delivery schedules, milestones and workstream roadmaps.
• Coordinate business and technology stakeholders to establish Day 1 readiness requirements and integration priorities.
• Establish project governance, reporting frameworks, RAID registers and dependency management processes.
• Identify operational, technology and business impacts arising from the acquisition.
• Coordinate discovery activities and work closely with Business Analysts to define scope, requirements and delivery priorities.
• Manage dependencies and risks across multiple business and technology workstreams.
• Engage senior stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues and support key decisions.
• Coordinate transition planning from initial acquisition readiness through to longer-term integration activities.
• Support the development of an integrated delivery roadmap for subsequent phases of the program.
