Job summary

SJA Construction Services in Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional for a part-time role. You will own the end-to-end receivables process, from invoicing to debtor follow-up, with scope to develop into a permanent full-time position.

The role offers flexible 4-day weekly arrangements (school hours possible) and a supportive finance team focused on accurate billing, timely payments, and strong client communication. Office based in Pitt Street, Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable / Finance.
• Ability to manage invoicing and debtor follow-up independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in professional services, engineering or construction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process.
• Prepare and issue client invoices within billing timelines.
• Monitor and follow up outstanding invoices and debtor collections.
• Maintain aged receivables reports and weekly updates.
• Review timesheet information for invoicing and set up project start-up sheets.
• Provide general finance support and ad hoc AR tasks.
• Respond to client queries relating to invoices and payments.
