Job summary

Ambition Recruitment is partnering with a leading ASX-listed organisation in a senior Accounts Receivable & Billing role in Chatswood. You will own end-to-end AR and billing within a collaborative, high-trust finance team, with hybrid work (3 days at home) and excellent leadership support.

Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end billing, low-volume high-value portfolios, invoicing, debtor collections, reconciliations, month-end-related tasks and revenue reporting.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Accounts Receivable and billing experience.
• Experience in ASX-listed or large corporate environments is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP).
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Handle a low-volume, high-value customer portfolio.
• Prepare accurate invoices, statements and billing reports.
• Manage debtor collections, reconciliations and banking activities.
• Act as the main contact for billing and revenue queries.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end journals, reporting and audit requirements.
• Produce revenue analysis and reporting insights.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in end-to-end Accounts Receivable and billing roles
• Previous experience within an ASX-listed or large corporate environment highly regarded
• Strong experience managing high-value customer accounts
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of processes
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Experience with Xero or similar ERP/accounting systems advantageous
