Job summary

Lismore City Council is seeking a highly organised Finance Officer to provide essential financial and administrative support across the Finance Department. This role focuses on accounts receivable, invoicing, debt collection, data integrity, and strong stakeholder relationships.

The position offers flexible work options, training and development, and wellbeing programs, with a full-time, 70 hours per fortnight schedule and a salary around AU$1,353.60–AU$1,556.64 per week plus 12% super.

About this Position:

What you will need to be successful:

• Experience in accounts receivable, finance administration, or a similar finance support role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and working collaboratively within a team.
• Computer literacy skills and high levels of accuracy with data entry.
• Certificate III in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience highly regarded.

Full Time 70 hours a fortnight

Salary: A salary range from $1,353.60 - $1,556.64 per week + 12% superannuation
