Job summary

LP Commercial Photography is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to manage the Billing Team within a large transport and logistics operation based in Port Botany, Sydney. You will lead a 3-person AR team, drive cash flow outcomes, and ensure accuracy and stakeholder service from end to end.

The role reports to the Financial Controller and includes ownership of end-to-end AR processes, plus a direct impact on collections, credit risk, audits and month-end activities.

• Ter­tiary qual­i­fi­ca­tion in Accounting, Commerce or Business.
• Proven experience leading an AR function.
• Strong people leadership with a hands-on style.
• Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Commercial, outcomes-focused approach.
• Advanced Excel and solid financial systems experience.
• High attention to detail, organised and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the AR team.
• Oversee billing, cash application and collections.
• Improve cash flow and reduce bad debt.
• Monitor customer accounts and manage credit risk.
• Approve credit limits, manage escalations, disputes and payment plans.
• Support audits, month end and reporting.

Accounts Receivable Team Leader

• $60-$65ph + super
• Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.00pm

We are currently seeking a highly experience Accounts Receivable Team Leader to manage the Billing Team of a large transport & logistics business in Port Botany. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and demonstrate an ability Lead a high-performing AR team of 3 in a national business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll own the end-to-end accounts receivable function, drive cash flow outcomes and ensure accuracy, compliance and great service to all stakeholders.
