Job summary

TraineeHub is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer for a busy automotive business in Sydney's north-west. You will own the full AR ledger across multiple departments, chase settlements, lodge manufacturer claims, and manage trade and fleet accounts.

This is not an entry‑level role. You will work closely with management, maintain accurate ledgers, support month‑end close, and generate aged debtor reports. Salary $65,000–$75,000 + super; full‑time, Castle Hill.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in accounts receivable or credit control at a mid to senior level.
• A genuine team player who's happy to pitch in and support the wider accounts team.
• A can-do attitude: you see a problem, you own it, and you get it sorted.
• Confidence chasing overdue accounts firmly but professionally.
• Strong reconciliation skills and genuine attention to detail.
• Comfort working across systems and learning new ones quickly.
• Automotive or dealership experience would be great, but it's not necessary. Strong AR skills and the right attitude matter more.

• Preparing aged debtor reports and flagging risk before it becomes a problem
• Supporting month-end close and working with the wider accounts team and management

Take ownership of accounts receivable in a busy automotive business

Our client is a well-established automotive business in Sydney's north-west, with a fast-moving operation spanning sales, service and parts. Money comes in from a lot of directions: finance companies, manufacturers, fleet and trade accounts, and retail customers. They need an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who can keep all of it moving, keep the ledger clean, and make sure nothing sits unpaid longer than it should.

This isn't an entry-level role. You'll be trusted to own the function, work closely with management, and bring the kind of judgement that only comes from having done this before.

What you'll be doing
