Job summary

Sime Darby Motors Retail (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to maintain a clean debtors ledger and ensure timely collections within terms. The role requires attention to detail and collaboration with the management and accounts team.

You will manage the receivable processes, credit applications, collections, and reconciliations, contributing to accurate financial reporting and cash flow. This is not an entry level position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with credit control is essential.
• Experience in the motor industry or similar industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work well within a team and support the wider accounts team when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable ledger for NSW dealerships.
• Process daily bank statements, reconcile receipts and debtor accounts, and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain online Credit Application portal and assign appropriate credit limits.
• Manage payment terms, implement Stop Credit when needed, and commence collections as required.
• Maintain accurate Receivable balance sheets and aged debtor reports; identify potential risk.
• Handle cash in the dealership in line with Cash Handling procedures.
