Job summary

Sime Motors NSW is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to maintain the receivable ledger for NSW dealerships and ensure timely collections. You will manage daily bank statements, reconcile debtor accounts, and support credit control processes with accuracy and integrity.

This role requires experience in credit control within the motor industry or related sector, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to resolving issues while upholding trading terms.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with credit control is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in the motor industry or similar industry will be looked upon favourably.
• Ability to work well within a team environment, being happy to pitch in and assist the wider accounts team when required.
• Positive can-do attitude with a desire to learn and improve, owning your role and solving any problems that arise.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full Accounts Receivable ledger for our NSW dealerships.
• Daily processing of Bank Statements, reconciling receipts and debtor accounts, and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain online Credit Application portal and ensuring appropriate credit limit is assigned to each Debtor account.
• Managing payment terms to ensure within approved timeframe, placing accounts on Stop Credit, along with commencing collection procedures when required.
• Responsible for all account customers, from providing copies of missing invoices, raising miscellaneous invoices and collections.
• Maintaining accurate Receivable balance sheets, including Aged Debtor Reports and identifying potential risk before it arises.
• Cash handling within the dealership, ensuring all dealership practices are in line with Cash Handling procedures
