Trinity Grammar School in Kew is seeking an experienced accounts payable professional to join our Finance Team in a permanent, part-time capacity. You will manage all creditor invoices, code them accurately, obtain approvals, and process payments, while maintaining strict deadlines in a cooperative team environment.

The role requires 5+ years in accounts payable, strong GST knowledge, and a proactive, communicative approach. Experience in an independent school and with Synergetic is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ accounts payable experience.
• Understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Knowledge of GST and indirect taxes.
• High level of organisation and ability to work autonomously to deadlines.
• Experience in an independent school and with Synergetic preferred.
• Confident, proactive and highly organised communicator.
• Can-do attitude and accountability.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with creditors and respond to queries, following up outstanding invoices.
• Obtain invoice approvals from appropriate personnel and heads of departments.
• Code invoices with GL accounts and GST codes.
• Process creditor invoices, including PO matching.
• Batch, post and file creditor invoices electronically.
• Run weekly EFT payment batches within deadlines set by Finance Manager.
