Job summary

Autopak-Vetlab Group in Western Sydney (St Marys) is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this hands-on role requires accuracy, organisation and a proactive approach in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage weekly payroll, multi-entity AP cycles, supplier reconciliations and process improvements while collaborating across departments. The role offers stability within a growing Australian manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Previous payroll processing experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset; experience with process improvement or automation is beneficial.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll across the business.
• Run monthly Accounts Payable payment runs across multiple entities.
• Match purchase orders to supplier invoices.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Set up and maintain new suppliers.
• Input supplier payments into the daily cash forecast.
• Process international supplier payments.
• Reconcile company credit cards.
• Process ad-hoc payments as required.
• Assist with general finance and administrative tasks as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, accurate and enjoys taking ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll across the business
