Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a 12-month contract with potential to go permanent. You will manage high-volume invoices, three-way match, and contribute to month-end close.

Based in Sydney, NSW, this role requires 2–3 years AP experience; immediate availability preferred. Retail exposure is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in retail is beneficial but not essential.
• Immediately available to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy prior to payment.
• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and within required timeframes.
• Manage invoice approval processes and follow up on outstanding approvals to ensure timely payment.
• Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding balances.
• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment preparation.
• Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder queries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with month-end and year-end activities, ensuring invoices are processed and reconciliations completed within deadlines.
