Job summary

The Personnel Connection is recruiting for our client, an established and growing Australian business in Mount Kuring-Gai, to join their Finance and Administration team as an experienced Accounts Officer.

This hands-on role covers AP, AR, invoicing, supplier payments, reconciliations, credit control and month-end, with scope to take ownership and improve processes within a small team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounts officer experience with AP/AR
• Solid understanding of day-to-day accounting processes
• Experience with reconciliations, invoicing and supplier/payments
• Ability to identify discrepancies and take ownership of tasks

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Enter and process supplier invoices
• Prepare customer invoices and credit notes
• Process supplier payments
• Follow up on outstanding customer accounts and payments
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Identify and resolve account discrepancies
• Assist with month-end processes and BAS/GST reporting
• Maintain financial records and provide accounting support
