Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a Western Sydney client to recruit an Accounts Officer on a 9-month fixed-term contract with potential extension. The role covers 75% accounts receivable and billing and 25% accounts payable, with one day of work-from-home flexibility.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, has 1+ year in a similar role, and demonstrates strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or related work experience.
• Prior experience in a similar role (1 year+).
• Open to junior candidates who can learn quickly and hit the ground running.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exposure to Oracle Netsuite or other ERP systems is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Full reconciliations of retailer payments.
• Create customer invoicing & credit notes in a timely manner.
• Handle adjustment requests.
• Provide support in billing and resolve billing queries.
• Daily refund processing.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.
• Create new accounts and manage access (hold/remove).
• Generate reminder letters and statements.
• Support AP with mailbox queries.
• Code and process supplier invoices accurately.
