As an accounts officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.
Accounts Payable
Reconcile monthly statement with suppliers
Accounts Receivable including:
Processing of daily sales invoices and credit notes.
Processing of daily cash receipts.
Distribution of monthly customer statements.
Facilitating the payment of invoices due by contacting customers and following up outstanding debts
Creating new accounts, ensuring terms and conditions are agreed to and maintaining credit insurance reference checks.
Enter financial data into the SAP accounting system, ensuring proper authorisation and accurate expense allocation to General Ledger accounts
Respond to invoicing and account enquiries from suppliers and staff
Assist in processing freight invoices - ensuring variances are investigated and or disputed accordingly
Assist in the reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts; matching bank statements and general ledgers to ensure numbers align
Assist in the preparation of management and financial reports
Provide ad hoc support to the Accounts Manager as needed
Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing
Resolve issues with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
Minimum 5+ year’s experience in an Accounts officer role (aerospace or defence industry experience is a bonus, not a must!).
SAP Business One knowledge (desirable, but not essential).
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and a knack for solving problems.
