Job summary

Nick Scali Furniture is hiring an entry-level Accounts Assistant to support our ANZ business. You will handle customer inquiries, reconcile accounts, and generate AR reports, ensuring timely payments and proactive outreach to customers with outstanding balances.

The role is full-time, based at our North Ryde head office, with standard 8:30am–5:30pm hours on weekdays and an on-site work environment connected to a metro station.

Qualifications

• This entry-level role is suitable for candidates starting in accounts support.
• Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Familiarity with AR concepts and office software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer service queries for accounts receivable.
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts and AR status reports.
• Ensure timely payments and contact customers about balances.
• Process and manage cancellations and investigate issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inquiries.

Job Description

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Customer Service – handling account queries
• Maintaining and reconcilingcustomer accounts
• Generating reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Ensure timely entry payments and contact customers via calls/emails regarding outstanding balances.
• Process and manage cancellations.
• Investigate unresolved issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address customer inquiries

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Customer Service skills – phone and email
• An understanding of the AR function
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily workload

Additional Information

• This is a full-time permanent role based at our head office in North Ryde.
• Working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm during weekdays in the office (note that this is an on-site position).
