Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company seeks an Accounting Supervisor in Decatur, IL. The role partners with BU Finance to ensure accurate records, reviews financial statements, and supports standardization to boost efficiency and strategic value.

You will lead monthly close under US GAAP, strengthen internal controls, and provide analyses to senior management while mentoring staff in a fast-moving team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, initiative, problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and perform relevant analysis
• Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and improve internal controls
• Work with business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
• Review, prepare, and analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules
• Review and approve work performed by accounting staff
• Perform quarterly analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with plant management, commercial and finance colleagues
