AgForce Queensland Farmers Limited is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support daily financial operations, with accounting and payroll processing responsibilities. The role collaborates across teams to ensure accurate data, timely processing and robust reporting.

The ideal candidate will have invoicing, reconciliations and payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of MYOB or FoundU. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting or related field is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience processing invoices, reconciliations or financial transactions.
• Strong MS Excel and computer skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A collaborative, proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Experience in MYOB and/or Found U will be highly regarded.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Business, Bookkeeping or strong work history.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver accurate, timely financial processing.
• Process accounts payable and receivable invoices and track outstanding payments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payments and manage appropriate approvals.
• Perform bank, credit card, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process payroll in line with approved schedules and controls and support compliance tasks.
• Process financial transactions with correct coding and documentation including journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain registers including credit cards, vehicles, expenses and handle finance related queries.
