Job summary

OHM Healthcare in Melbourne is seeking an Accountant to own day-to-day accounting and reporting for a growing healthcare technology group. You will work with operations, logistics, field service and sales, ensuring accurate records, monthly closes, and reconciliations.

The role involves preparing management reports, budgets, cash flow statements and tax obligations, with exposure to Zoho and Xero systems. Prior Zoho experience is helpful and may be trained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• At least 1 year experience in accounting.
• Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations and month-end accounts.
• Experience working with integrated business systems (Zoho/Xero).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Arrange accounting entries for debtors and creditors and assist in auditing.
• Assist in examining operating costs and income/ expenditure.
• Prepare management reports including financial statements and budgets.
• Reconcile supplier and inter-company transactions and budget variances.
• Post monthly journals for payroll costs and tax withholding.
• Prepare trial balance and commentary on variances.
• Coordinate with external accountants for BAS and payroll tax.
