Sara King Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain records, and support management with financial insights. The role covers accounts payable/receivable, payroll, BAS/GST, and month-end procedures in a hands-on environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Australian GST. The position offers a stable career path within an established Australian business in Sydney.

Formación

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a general accounting or accountant role.
• Experience in preparing and analysing financial reports, management accounts and financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting practices and GST.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, financial analysis and monitoring business performance.
• Experience preparing BAS and assisting with tax compliance.
• Good understanding of payroll and superannuation processes.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain the company's accounting functions, accounting systems and financial records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Review financial transactions and supporting accounting records to ensure accuracy, appropriate classification and compliance with company policies.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and working-capital requirements, and provide relevant financial information to management.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and management accounts for management review.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures.
• Prepare BAS, GST and other relevant taxation requirements.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting records.
