The International Grammar School Sydney Ltd is seeking a qualified Accountant for a 12-month full-time temporary role in Sydney. You will support accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger, ensuring accurate records and strong controls while assisting with new finance system implementations.

The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a collaborative Finance Team.

Qualifications

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to commence as soon as possible on a 12-month temporary full-time basis. This role supports the delivery of high-quality finance and accounting operations across the School. Working as a flexible and collaborative member of the Finance Team, the Accountant will provide support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate financial records, strong financial controls and timely processing of transactions.

The role will also play an important part in supporting the School's implementation of a new finance system and the Compass student information system, including data administration, testing and process improvement activities.
