Job summary

The Banco Group in Melbourne, Australia is seeking an Accountant to manage financial control and compliance across multiple entities. You will work with senior management to ensure efficient, compliant operations and profitable performance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, perform reconciliations, support BAS and tax return preparation, and participate in internal audits and strategic planning with stakeholders across the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related discipline, plus at least 5 year experience in a similar position.
• Hands-on experience with GOAT property management software and Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with commercial and industrial portfolios, and property developments.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Planning and Organisational skills, with ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and in a team engaging with various internal and external stakeholders.
